On this 10-page document, you can follow my financial analysis of two companies from the same industry: Tesla and Rivian. Applying the information I learned from Mr. Sanes, I compared the companies' liquidity, assets & liabilities, stock information & overall financial health. My research revealed that Tesla is an extremely profitable and financially healthy company, while Rivian operates at a net loss and has a large amound of assets that allow it to stay liquid despite large debt.
It was a very interesting project that opened my eyes to the variety of financial tools that can be used to asses a company. It was cool to learn more "behind the scenes" information on two popular companies that we don't typically look at from the perspective of business.
