The Business and Entrepreneurship Program has been the biggest source of learning and experience over my high school years. Most of my friends joined it in 9th grade, and when I heard their feedback about how engaging and "real" the material was, I just had to join in 10th grade.
Over the last three years, I completed a variety of business classes ranging in material from basic business functions to complex management strategy. In each course, I completed a summative project/presentation.
I have gained tremendous knowledge, learning from real CEOs, consultants and wealth managers about the things they do every day, and I am excited to continue growing my knowledge of the business world and eventually making an impact as an entrepreneur. In my opinion, the most prospective area of business is Artificial Intelligence integration, which is what I plan to study thoroughly in college and eventually explore as a career opportunity.
Feel free to explore all of my projects below, coupled with reflections on the class and the material I learned.
Law is a crucial aspect of every company, legal departments overlooking the work of every employee and ensuring the company is free from risks and liabilities. In this course, I explored the basics of our legal system and its application to the business world in areas such as contract law, tort law, property law and fiduciary duty.
Understanding economic concepts and their impact on businesses and consumers alike is a key skill in successful business management. In this course, I explored various economic foundations, theories and formulas, applying them to the real world and seeing their importance in our lives.
